Everyone loves brownies, right? And today, I’m going to show you a fun way to prepare brownies with an added touch of a peanut butter chocolate shell. I’ve made these a few times before and they are always a huge hit! You can eat them by themselves or pair with ice cream. You can even decorate the hard shell with designs for special occasions.
Here’s what you’ll need:
a brownie box mix (along with the ingredients to make the brownies)
almond bark in chocolate
How you’ll make them:
Prepare the brownies according to the back of the box. Bake them just under the time it allows on the box. I usually pull them out 2-3 minutes before the recommended cook time. Allow the brownies to cool, then shape the brownies into balls. To make sure they are completely cooled after I roll them into balls, I’ll stick them in fridge. Then prepare the CandiQuik according to the directions. Once it is melted, add a spoonful of peanut butter to the melted chocolate and mix together. Then you’ll dip your brownie balls in the mixture and make sure all of the brownie is coated. Place on a piece of wax paper, and let them harden. See, it’s that simple!
These are so simple to make, and you’ll find that they’re gone as soon as you put them out. Kids love to help make these, too. Be sure to try them out, and let me know what you think!
Y’all have a wonderful weekend, and don’t forget to link up your favorite post from the week with our Sunday Brunch. It will be live on the blog Sunday morning.
